Here are some links to other websites I hope you will find interesting.

www.thecolborneartgallery.ca

I am a member of the Colborne Society of Artists, and show regularly in their gallery in Colborne, ON.

www.artuary.ca   Although I am primarily a painter, I base my art entirely on my photographs. Some of the ones that have inspired me the most are displayed in this online photography gallery featuring the work of Canadian photographers.

This is my colour consultation practice. I help home owners choose paint colours that enhance their living spaces.

www.lostbeach.ca   A reflection of my feelings about the loss of the beach along Cobourg's waterfront.

Lorene McLean, my aunt, is an accomplished water colour artist. She has inspired me to document my feelings in the watercolour medium.

Sheila Ayearst, Lorene's daughter, is also an accomplished and acclaimed artist. We spent summers together when we were growing up and we share a common history and aesthetic.

Duane Schermerhorn is my husband and my soulmate. He has a keen eye for graphic design and designs and develops websites and logos.

Diane White was Duane's sister, and in many ways mine as well. She died tragically several years ago of cancer. This website documents her life.

Cobourg is where I live and work, and the local landscape provides much of my inspiration.

Helping Canadian artists and Canadian art lovers find each other.

Artists in Canada   Dedicated to raising the profile of the visual arts in Canada by maintaining a national directory of internet links to artists and art resources

  Web services for artists worldwide.

Brushstroke Magazine   Canadian Brushstroke Magazine is an online magazine directed towards artists, with articles from which they can learn new techniques, information on Canadian legal issues, magazine competitions, and news on other exhibits and competitions, etc. The intent is to increase the profile of Canadian artists and serve the art industry with important news and information.

Painters Keys   The "Robert Genn Twice-Weekly Letter" is directed at a world-wide community of creative people, mostly painters, but also a large number of sculptors, writers, photographers, and to a lesser degree collectors and art dealers and others who are just interested in art.
